Today we are packing up from our 5 night stay with the De Vallence's. They were wonderful hosts. We very much enjoyed our stay with them.
We are driving to Williamsburg, VA today, so we aren't quite getting out of Virginia. After saying goodbye to the De Vallence family we head off again.
The drive to Williamsburg was relatively short and simple. We set up the trailer early in the afternoon. Virginia Beach is about an hour away so we head off to get all the way to the Atlantic Ocean!
There were a lot of people at Virginia Beach, but still plenty of room for us to find a spot on the sand and the kids to dive into the surf. The girls had a great time playing in the waves. Later they had fun on the beach.
Meanwhile, Carla arranged to met a friend of hers for dinner. Marjorie and Steve Barnes live about 30 minutes away. They drove to Virginia Beach to met us for dinner.
We found a restaurant that wasn't packed and had some good fish dinner. Of course after playing hard in the surf, we all needed to have some ice cream afterward.
We said our goodbyes to Marj and Steve and headed back to Williamsburg.
