Rye Patch Reservoir was windy through the night and into the morning. The Park Ranger said that the wind was a relief to the 100ยบ temperatures that were expected.
After showers and a quick breakfast we headed east on to Utah. Lots of driving today. We looked for the California Trail Interpretive Center in Wells, NV but it appeared to be abandoned or under construction. So, we pulled into a Flying J and made sandwiches for lunch.
More driving, and driving, and driving. Productive work day for me at the office. A quick gas stop in Salt Lake City and onto Coalville, UT and the Holiday Hills RV Park.
