I have been busy

You just wouldn't know it looking at the posting dates on my blog.  December flew by with crafting for the holidays, and finishing my Bright Bargello.  I'll post that later.

What happened to January?

IMGP9438rI had very few Binky tops available to quilt so I volunteered to quilt some tops for our Quilt Guild's Community Service group.  They have plenty of quilters who can do the smaller quilts but when it gets to twin and larger size quilts, those tend to sit waiting to get quilted.  I emailed Renay and she ran some over to me right away.

These coin blocks remind me of spring.  Twin size quilt.

This stitching  is a Keryn Emmerson panto called Vine.  I think it looks like a tulip on this quilt in these colors.

Renay brought me a Full size quilt in the same coin block style, but I forgot to take pics of the quilting, Overlapping Flower by Meredith England.

This twin quilted up quick and easy.

I quilted it freehand, curves in the squares and loops in the borders.

This one belongs to Marilyn.  It is a t-shirt quilt for her husband. It is 'just' too big for her to quilt on her own frame, so she brought it to me.

I quilted it with Chain by Keryn Emmerson because it seemed like a Bam, Krack, Whap kinda panto like her border.
