My niece was hired to cook for the summer on the Snowgoose. Everybody, including the French, LOVED her cooking and her presence. She is now on a fishing boat out of Sitka, Alaska chasing the big salmon. My brother asked that we write to her. I'm not much of one for writing, but I am one for quilting. So, I quilted up a couple of pot holders for her. Not sure if she's cooking on this trip, but if she is she'd appreciate these hot pads. And the block design is Northern Lights. Thought that would be appropriate.
