I enjoy making charity quilts for Binky Patrol, http://binkypatrol.org/. It gives me the opportunity to improve my machine quilting skills and use my stash of fabric while providing comforting covers for kids. Contact me if you would like to join our Binky Patrol quilting force. We can always use more helping hands! Check out each quilt for links to patterns if available.
Our Vacaville Chapter of Binky Patrol donates to: Solano County Child Protective Services, Northbay Hospital - A Baby is Coming, Northbay Hospital NICU, Solano County Nurse-Family Partnership, CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children), Ronald McDonald House, wounded soldiers at Travis AFB, Japanese Tsunami survivors, Kazakhstan and Rwanda Orphanages, Hurricane Katrina survivors, San Bruno gas explosion and fire victims, and any child from the local high school who we find out has lost a parent, is homeless, undergoing cancer treatments, or is really sick. Any where we hear of a need, we send a blanket. Send me an email if you would like to help.
