1926-1950 Singer Model 20

IMGP7494

This can only be dated in the range from 1926 to 1950 as Singer did not give the toys serial numbers.  The machine is dated by body style.  Singer started stamping threading numbers on the machine in 1926 and the body style changed in 1950.  Designed as a toy to have little girls sewing at their mother's knee, but it is fully functioning, sturdy, and works beautifully.  This is a chain stitch machine.  No bobbin.  Makes a beautiful stitch!  This is my traveling machine.  I use it to occupy my hands while traveling long distances!
