This one didn't spend too much time on my design wall. A couple weeks ago, the girls cuts fabrics for Quickie Strippie quilt kits. There was just a strip of each of these cowboy fabrics leftover. I just stripped them all together and put a border on. This is just the right size for a diaper bag quilt!
Finished quilting five bigger binky tops this week, but I took pics without the memory card in the camera, so I will need to find the cable for the camera to download the pics....or take them again.
After 43 quilts in three weeks with only a handful done freehand, the rest done by robot, today I decided to see if I could still freehand. Can I just say that I get much more 'other things' done when the robot runs the quilting machine! I can still freehand. I do still have the touch, but sewing had to wait until I got off the quilting machine.
Started a new project today. Kids were watching movies and my cutting table is in perfect view of the family and tv, so I cut all my 132 blocks for Scrappy Mountain Majesties from Bonnie Hunter. Cutting is much more quiet than sewing, so I don't disturb their movie and I get to 'watch' too (more listening than watching if I want to cut a straight line!). Pics for that later (after I find my cable...)
