I love the back on this one. Had a few blocks leftover from the mass production of the front, not knowing exactly how I was going to lay it out. I love doing this inset on the back. Undeniably homemade when the back is pieced too!
I did a Ricky Tims scalloped binding on this one. See that little pink scallop at the edge of the binding? You make the scallop strip using the blind hem stitch on your machine, pulls the fabric up into a cute little scallop design. It was simple and adds that special little touch.
