Where to begin?... The beginning is too many years ago. I'm sure my first quilts are still in use somewhere. Melissa's "Log Cabin in a Day" baby blanket - Melissa is married now! So I might as well begin with the present. I have a couple of projects in the works that are for friends, so I'll post them later. But here is a recent finish many years in the making. I bought these Victorian House panels when our 18 year old was a baby. Figured it would be real easy to put together real quick. Even had backing and batting, but life got in the way. Things like baby blankets for our girls, tulip quilts and then butterfly quilts for all three of them, girl scouts, volleyball, camping, you know, that important stuff! I'm really glad I didn't complete this quilt years ago. Years ago I didn't have Qvirky. I've had so much fun in the last year playing with my short arm quilting machine. Years ago I would have just 'stitched in the ditch' but this Victorian Houses quilt is so much sharper with all that meandering.
