I'm 2 hours and 40 minutes into quilting Julie's Puzzle Quilt. Smooth sailing so far, but I do have a few concerns.
I've gone through seven bobbins. I decided to use the needle thread in the bobbin to match and it is a 30 weight thread, so I am having to change bobbins about at just less than every 1.5 passes. Not a problem necessarily, but I don't always catch it when I run out so I'm quilting along into nothingness. And I hope I have enough thread to take me through the project. If I really start to get low, I'll run out and find the best match for the bobbin at the fabric store.
Next concern, I'm maybe just at one third the way through the quilt (91x110) and I feel like I'm already running out of quilting room. Qvirky has a 9" throat, but really only about a 6" swing and as the quilt winds under the throat the swing becomes smaller and smaller. My puzzle design is a 4.5" swing. If I can make it to the halfway point of the quilt, I can turn it. Thinking about trying to match the design after turning it makes me nervous, but I think it will work out.
