Okay, so I know it needs to be bound, but see.... our Binky Patrol group has an awesome assembly line system. Some volunteers cut fabric, some volunteers sew tops, some volunteers machine quilt tops, but for the most part Rhoda is our Binky Binding Beast! All the tops Marilyn and I quilt go to Rhoda to bind, so I get to call quilted Binky tops finishes!
This is my favorite 'square dancing' quilting design, inspired by Laura Lee Fritz book "Mindful Meandering" designs. Freehand, freeform designs and it is so cool what turns out when you stitch it.
I just love it when this happens. Loaded roughly 20 yards of backing on Qvirky yesterday. Finished quilting this evening with this much backing leftover on the frame, only 10 inches. Really couldn't ask to get any closer. I quilted 6 Binkys today for a total of 9 off the backing I loaded yesterday!
